Marketing…that’s such a big word that means so many different things. I suppose a word can only really mean one thing, but means something different perhaps per business. Let me introduce myself, Lindsey. Ok…enough about me and let me tell you why should jump on my class hosted by Great Monadnock Collaborative on May 31st.
For one it’s free to members so kind of a no-brainer. Secondly, if you’ve got any social accounts or email platforms for your business you should totally attend. If you don’t know how to schedule your social posts then you should just stop reading and register now.
During the online class, we’re going to cover creating a graphic for social media, scheduling posts, learning hashtags, tagging, the best sites for royalty-free photos, AI, and most importantly streamlining what you have going on. I hear all the time from clients “I just don’t have time to do social media” or “It’s too time-consuming”. Well, my new friend…then you’re doing something wrong.
If you’ve read this far you might care to know if I’m qualified to show you these tricks and trades. I’ll sum it up because in actuality you really just care how the class will benefit you. I know human nature, it’s cool. Truthfully, I just don’t enjoy talking about myself and I really hate writing. I started my web career back in 2004 when phones weren’t a thing and online shopping thankfully also wasn’t a thing. I spent my early years building an online print company down in Boston. They had 15 retail locations, but no online ordering (yup, wasn’t a thing). Together we figure out print on demand (like Vista print). It was huge, and Boston University was our first client. Yup, cool, moving on. After having a child the drive to Boston from Peterborough became way too much. I slowly built up my business with my mother for web development & photography studio. Like a one-stop-shop type of thing, I suppose. I spent time getting Google certified (that’s kind of a joke honestly), and really enjoy how the web changes so fast. I love learning new tricks and tools to help my clients grow their businesses or start them. I’m an athlete and enjoy spending time with my family and little dog. Perhaps our mini husky will help run the class. One last thing…I’m the one-woman operation behind the new website for Greatermonadnock.com. Life is too short to slow down. Plus automation is a wonderful thing 😉
I’ll end with this. Last year I ran a successful class on just this. It was a four-week program and my clients really enjoyed it and keep asking me to host again. This class is free to GMC Members because I want to help other businesses in the area. If you miss this free class you can always take mine and have to pay a lot. There is another reason to jump on.
