MoCo Arts Presents C.A.K.E.’s Festival Week Performances: A Celebration of Creativity and Talent
KEENE, NH – MoCo Arts is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated C.A.K.E. (aka Creative Arts at Keene) Summer Camp’s Festival Week performances! Featuring a spectacular lineup of musical theatre, a one-act play, a film festival, and an extraordinary Festival Day performance showing off what MoCo’s C.A.K.E. campers have learned this summer. Festival Week kicks off on Tuesday, July 25 at 7 p.m. as C.A.K.E. One Act presents an unforgettable rendition of William Shakespeare’s masterpiece, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Witness the magic and mayhem unfold in this captivating production, showcasing the talent and creativity of our young actors.
MoCo Arts is also thrilled to host the C.A.K.E. Film Festival on Wednesday, July 26 at 5 p.m. This special event highlights the exceptional filmmaking skills of our young artists. Join us at MoCo Arts for an evening of cinematic brilliance as we showcase a diverse range of projects created over the summer by our talented students. Best of all, C.A.K.E. Film Festival is free for all to attend, so be sure to mark your calendars!
Thursday, July 27 at 4:45 p.m. C.A.K.E. Festival Day unfolds at The Colonial Theatre. This highly anticipated performance showcases the incredible talent nurtured at MoCo Arts. Prepare to be amazed as our students bring their skills to the stage, delivering a show-stopping performance that will leave you in awe. Join us at 4:45 p.m. in the lobby to see artwork created during C.A.K.E.’s visual arts classes. At 5:15 p.m. C.A.K.E. campers will take the stage with a rock concert, excerpts from this summer’s C.A.K.E. theatre classes and dance performances of all styles, you don’t want to miss this event!
The grand finale of Festival Week: C.A.K.E. Musical Theatre’s enchanting performance of The Music Man JR. Join us on Friday, July 28 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 29 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at MoCo Arts, as our talented young performers bring this beloved classic to life. Prepare to be swept away by the catchy tunes, vibrant choreography, and heartwarming story.

For the Festival Day performance at The Colonial Theatre, tickets can be purchased through The Colonial Theatre’s website at: https://bit.ly/FestivalDay2023. Please note that tickets are priced at $15 for all shows, and seating is limited. We encourage early reservations to ensure your spot. There will be no late seating, and tickets are nonrefundable. MoCo’s Film Festival is FREE and a nonticketed event! Handicap seating is available upon request.
