Stronger Shoulders & Healthier Spines Seminars at Monadnock Community Hospital
Monadnock Community Hospital is thrilled to announce its upcoming Health and Wellness Seminars, highlighting spine and shoulder wellness. These seminars aim to empower community members with valuable insights and strategies to achieve optimal musculoskeletal health.
These engaging and informative sessions will be hosted by our team of expert clinicians who specialize in orthopedic wellness and aim to promote injury prevention through proactive steps towards maintaining strong and healthy spines and shoulders. Through this initiative, Monadnock Community Hospital aims to further its mission of improving the health and well-being of our community.
The seminars will begin in August with a presentation on Spine Care Treatment with Vache Hambardzumyan, MD, PhD, FEBS, focusing on cervical and lumbar spinal conditions, along with the latest minimally invasive treatment options available at Monadnock Orthopaedic Associates. A month later, Ryan Griffiths, PT, DPT, CSCS, will educate attendees on essential techniques and practical tips on preventing spinal injuries and degenerative changes, focusing on posture, core strengthening, body mechanics, and managing spine-related diagnoses.
In October, Shawn Harrington, MD, FAAPMR, will offer an interactive workshop on common shoulder problems, self-care solutions, and reasons to seek medical consultation. He will also provide a special preview of a new outdoor area for therapy and training. Following that session, in November Theodore Nelson, PT, DPT, will provide education on shoulder injuries and how to maintain optimal shoulder health with practical tips and exercises.
Throughout the seminars, participants will have the unique opportunity to interact with our healthcare professionals out of the office, receiving personalized advice and guidance. Whether you are an active athlete, a working professional, or simply interested in maintaining your well-being, these health and wellness seminars are designed to cater to individuals seeking to optimize their spine or shoulder health.
